Carolina Estate Of Mine presents another fine sale in downtown Columbia. This sale includes items collected over generations, some of which came from the family’s former home, a plantation in Virginia. Featured are a mahogany partners desk, a pair of chairs with ottomans by Charles Pollock, tilt top tables, a set of eight Chippendale chairs, a pair of chairs by Baker, an architects desk, early pine monks bench, an antique candle mold, a book press, a gun safe and an 11×17 Persian rug. The bedrooms include twin and king size beds, mahogany highboys and chests. The kitchen is over stocked and includes Waterford crystal, baking items, silverplate and Sterling serving pieces, Old Maryland sterling by Kirk and Sons, Christmas China by Adams, Wedgewood China and Adderly China. Other items include leather wing recliners, a collection of Confederate books and artwork. Also, a 19C bow front chest, cast iron toys, Lionel train, artwork includes lithographs by Currier and Ives, early brass and copper pieces, a collection of antique and reproduction bottles. This sale also includes a large collection of cameras and photography equipment and a room devoted to Christmas . This is an extraordinary collection.
